Hey y'all, Scott is a Super Host for a reason. The man is wicked responsive, incredibly reasonable and best of all... Has a killer upscale cabin-vibe kind of place goin on. Two floors of fun with a hot tub and fire pit in the back; cozy beds, nap-the-afternoon-away flavor couch and fully equipped kitchen that we made multiple hot meals in. 'Scenic Overlook?' Yah, it's literally a 5-10 minute walk that we made a trek of daily for the unreal sunsets/views. There are also other great, easy to traverse hiking/exploritative spots nearby (10-15 minutes) like Diana's Bath & Echo Lake, both a cool waterfall and caribbeanesqe lake, respectively. Downtown North Conway was straight up a less-than-10-minute car ride where you can find your standard small towny shoppes; Beef n Ski (as the sign at the house above the coffee maker alludes to) has great roast beef sandwiches and Zeb's Country Store has what you need for sweetz. Overall, the 'new rustic' feel is what you get here, and it's nice - The wood smell can be a little much at first, but you get into that true 'new rustic' vibe once you're feelin ehht. All and all, this spot is a solid and totally worth it 4.8 stars; No questions asked. Thanks again Scott for the Super Hostmenship (The guy knows what he's doing here, folks...) Check this place out if you want a 'Mountain Retreat' style getaway... Emphasis on the 'treat' ;)

Gorgeous cabin in a great location. It was close to everything and very easy to find. We really enjoyed our stay.

Comfy, clean spot to stay in the heart of the white mountains! It’s on a quieter street but near the commercial areas and in close proximity to hiking, which is why we came. The house has been thoughtfully renovated and decorated. We enjoyed the living room/kitchen space downstairs, and slept great upstairs. Plenty of room for us (a couple and baby), and could accommodate more people as well.

Great location in Jackson NH for a weekend getaway. Closer to the road than expected. cute, clean, comfortable cabin.

Wow. This house and grounds are very impressive. The views are even better. We had nine of us but there was plenty of room for more. I absolutely loved grilling out and having dinner in the attached screened in gazebo. Perfect for family reunion‘s. Thanks so much.

We loved our stay in the house , much better than we expected. We stayed there for a family get-together and we created a lots of amazing memories. The house was clean and very inviting. It has a beautiful view to the ocean from every room and the third floor view would just take your breath away. The kitchen was stocked with basic supplies. Scott was quick in answering our questions and was a very good host. There was fresh cut flowers in the Gazebo and also he had taken the extra effort to find a place for a fire pit for us since we wanted it. We cherished and enjoyed every minute of our stay, nothing to complain.

We rented this beautiful house for a family vacation with our two children. The grounds were beautiful and our toddler loved running around outside. The views were wonderful from each room, and it made waking up early with kiddos easier looking out onto the beauty of the ocean. We enjoyed playing games and hanging out in the screened-in gazebo. This was perfect because even when it was hot and sunny midday, you could still enjoy being outside in this room. It was a nice time away with the family.

Perfect place for a relaxing/gathering get away weekend. Huge house, plenty of space for a big family. Absolutely loved the views and the quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Perfect house for family events, good location, excellent host

This property had everything we needed and then some... Great place to stay, great location, easy to find, easy access. Perfect place for a few day get away

We stayed here to attend a wedding at nearby Portsmouth Harbor side. The condo is very clean, modern and conveniently located. Very short walking distance to the wonderful assortment of restaurants, shops and bars but far enough away to be quiet at night. Beautiful view of the ocean pool from the deck. We definitely recommend this place friends and family and plan to stay here again. Great, responsive host too.

  15. Stephanie M.

We loved our stay here...It was a great place to relax, get ready and recover from a weekend of wedding festivities in the Portsmouth area. The condo was clean and comfortable with a great, unobstructed view of the water. I will say, the steep stairs made us a bit nervous with our two year old walking around but that's the only slightly critical thing I could think of (obviously not an issue for non-toddler refers!) Highly recommended!

  16. Kevin C.

Perfectly located for easy access to downtown. Beautiful space. We hope to return for a longer stay some day.

We stay here for about 3 weeks in November. The property was as described. It's a 10 minute walk to restaurants and city centre. Loved the outlook over the water with breakfast on the balcony. The beds were comfortable and the place was tastefully decorated. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends from Australia.

  18. Leonard Q.

Great location. Very clean and host was very responsive. Next time I'm in NH, that's the place I'm staying.

  19. Marla D.

Perfect, quaint little townhouse! Great stay

The place was gorgeous! Felt very home like and welcoming. The owner, Scott, was also great about communicating back and forth and making sure we were all set to go. The location was perfect! It was only about a 10 minute walk to town. My boyfriend and I enjoyed some lunch and then walked back to the house to relax and eventually cooked dinner there. We loved the place and really enjoyed our stay!

    Thanks again Scott!

Four of us stopped here for one night during the trip through Green Mountains. The house is located one block away from the central (and probably noisy) street. We probably could find a bunch of restaurants within few minutes of walking, but Scott didn't mind us using the grill in the backyard, so we cooked delicious dinner ourselves -- there was everything we needed in the kitchen. It was quiet (unlike the other reviewer we had zero problems with the noise), clean, equipped with everything we needed. Yes, I would recommend this place.

This recently renovated, loaded with original woodworking details has a luxuriously large master bedroom, bunk beds in the second bedroom, lovely all new functional kitchen and cozy living/dining area. It comfortably accommodated my family of four. Well located right in town, reasonably priced, nicely furnished and spiffy clean, we'd absolutely stay there again!

  23. Gary T.

Scott was great. we were meeting 20 friends for Golf and supper and needed to Iron some clothes, could not find Iron, so Scott ran out to Walmart and purchased an Iron. Hot tub was great, bed was comfortable, and No. Conway is always great. Would stay at Scott's again.

  24. Connie D.

It's is on the corner of a busy street but there really doesn't seem to be much traffic after 11pm. Walk to the center of North Conway. Owner easy to deal with. Italian restaurant 1 block away was great.

  25. David and Susan H.

Had a great time relaxing, X-C skiing, shopping and enjoying the beautiful scenery!

  26. paula s.

This property was beautiful, convenient and very spacious for just the two of us. We rented the one bedroom option. It was very close to the town of Conway. One could walk to restaurants and shops. 5 minute drive to outlet shopping in North Conway. Lots of areas to snowshoe and downhill ski nearby. We went snowshoeing at Diana's Baths one day and skiing at Attitash the next day. Highly recommend this property!! Also recommend the "Fat Biscuit" restaurant for breakfast, 3 min walking distance. (Go for daily hash recipe!!)

  27. Colleen G.

Beautiful one bedroom apartment, very modern and clean. The location is perfect, walking distance to shops and restaurants, 10 min drive to attitash and 5 min drive to grocery store and outlet shopping. We will definitely be back.

  28. Kathy V.

Just got back from a 3 day leaf peeping trip and this place was the perfect location. Best Italian restaurant in the valley was right across the street and a super short walk brings you to Old Village Bakery for breakfast on the go. We found the house to be immaculate and perfectly comfortable whether watching TV or sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked and the owner was great to work with. Would definitely stay again. Fantastic location for skiers.

  29. Jonathan R.

Great apartment in North Conway! Scott was also very accommodating and the place was very clean. Only complaint is the sheets did not fit the king size bed.

  30. david k.

Great big place. We had 20 people in here and there was plenty of rooms and, maybe more importantly, plenty of bathrooms.

The owner, Scott, noticed that the hot tub needed new water and promptly changed it - it is hard to underestimate the value of knowing your hot tub has fresh water. He also fixed a broken towel rack as we were moving in. The point is that he is on top of the maintenance.

I definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the Conway area.

  31. Trudy C.

Great location, lots of rooms to spread out in and also rooms for large groups to gather. The house was clean and well maintained.

  32. Bob K.

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The house was large enough for all 4 of our families; 4 couples and a total of 6 kids with at least 8 beds left to spare. There is a great common area with an open kitchen with breakfast bar that opens up to a dining room that flows into a family room. This was a great area for everyone to hang out.

Location is about as good as you can get, one block away from downtown and a quick minute or two to Cranmore.

  33. ezr282

This house was perfect for our family. We had a great time there. The aree is excellent as well and the house itself is in close proximity to many attractions and shopping stores. A+

  34. Jamie A.

This was our second stay in the house. It’s absolutely perfect for our large family! The location couldn’t be better. And this year the owner added a hot tub! Can’t wait to go back!!

  35. Walter H.

We had 8 couples together for a get-a-way weekend. We do this every year in a different part of New England. This house was loved by all. Lots of room to move around. Dinning table big enough for games, Yard and fire pit area great for hanging out with a cocktail, or two. Scott, the owner, keep in touch, and answered all question quickly. This is as close to a perfect HomeAway rental as you can get. Thank You Scott

We found the cabin to be clean and cozy. The owner was easy to reach and very accommodating with requests that were made. This cabin was exactly what we wanted as a base camp for some hiking in the White Mountains. Being about 15 minutes away from North Conway keeps you out of any of the busyness. If you are looking for a dinner suggestion you must try out the Christmas Farm Inn. It has great food and a nice atmosphere. As a side note, this cabin is just across the road from the Elis River which is said to have some of the best trout fishing in New Hampshire. My wife made the reservations and I found this out to late to be prepared. Oh well, maybe next time.

  37. Chris T.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much! It was exactly what we were looking for; private, relaxing and romantic. The cabin was clean and very well maintained. We can't wait to plan our next trip to the mountains!

  38. Michelle H.

The cabin was beautiful and quaint....everything we were looking for!!! We had a great time and we were very pleased with the property!

  39. linda k.

My husband and I stayed here Oct 2017. Just right for 2 people.

Cabin is just like the pictures. Clean and cozy. Hot tub was great after days of hiking

Great location for white mountain activities. Would stay here again.

  40. Chris T.

My wife and I had a great time. It was peaceful and relaxing and the cabin was great. We highly recommend this place and we plan on going back again! I give it 5 stars!

  41. Catherine B.

When we walked into the cabin, we were both pleasantly surprised. The cabin is in a great location.

  42. Robyn S.

Always have a great stay at this cabin and keep coming back. The new hot tub was awesome, and the cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable away from home.

  43. Mark P.

This cabin is amazing, and perfect for a quick romantic getaway, or for a weekend ski trip, will definitely rent from this renter again!!!!

  44. Lauren W.

My boyfriend and I rented this cabin for a night getaway on the weekend of August 19th. It was very cute! The location was nicely hidden away but still close enough to the typical North Conway attractions and beautiful nature, as well as stores for any small things you may need. A few things we felt were important to share in the description before renting: 1. The height of the cabin. My boyfriend was just shy of touching the ceilings with his head (not a big deal but it could matter more for a taller guy). 2. You need to bring your own water/cannot drink from faucets. This was fine for one night but others may not like it for a longer stay. Including these two facts in the description would be helpful for potential renters. We also could not figure out how to set the thermostat, so leaving directions for that would be helpful as well. The cleaner did show up 5 minutes before we were supposed to check out which made us feel a bit rushed. As well as the location given for throwing out the trash at checkout. It was difficult to find so we ended up just taking our trash with us to throw out somewhere else. Other than those few small things, this place was perfect. Very cozy and romantic. We didn't have a chance to use the hot tub but it appeared clean and easy to use. I would recommend this for a couple looking to get away or even a small group of friends. There was a lot of seating that could be turned into beds as well as having the pull out couch/extra cots. Thank you for everything and we look forward to returning :)

Really quaint and clean cottage, everything you need for a couple of days to enjoy Jackson, NH.

  46. ronald l.

This is a very quaint and functional little cabin. We were very comfortable for our short stay. The hot tub is an excellent touch. Also it's just outside the village of Jackson and almost next door to Black Mountain. I would definitely return here.

  47. Julie W.

There was plenty of room for our large family group of 12 adults and one child. Everything in the house was functional, and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this property.

  48. Scott K.

our family loved being right in town, walking distance and the layout for our large family. Two living rooms, a big yard and cozy bedrooms made this a great stay

  49. Scott K.

Clean, charming house, steps away to the villaheb

This was our 3rd annual girls weekend staying here and it was, always, perfect. The house never looked better, the updates Scott and Amy have made are wonderful. There were 9 of us this year, but the house could easily fit another 7 or 8 (if you put 2 people in the king beds). Having 2 living rooms is fantastic, and the huge kitchen table always seems to be our hub for the weekend. Downtown is a quick 2 minute walk, the Saco is a mile away, Cathedral Ledge is 5 minutes and Diana's Baths is 7 minutes.

Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful home, looking forward to next year!!

  51. Karen M.

We booked this house to have space and comfortable sleeping with infants and toddlers and we were very impressed. The layout of the house is maze like with many doors and three levels, making it very fun for our granddaughter to play hide and seek. The living rooms (two of them) were roomy and provided ample seating and great TV's. The dining room with bench seats and long table was perfect for game night. The kitchen has all the supplies you need to cook in or if not wanting to cook there are plenty of walking distance dining options. Beds were extra comfy with plenty of linens and the bedrooms are super roomy. Clean all around. A hot tub was added on the Sat we were there which will be a great amenity for skiers. Foyer with door bar is a fun area with good ski storage. Scott was very responsive and truly has a beautiful impressive home. I hope my family has a chance to stay here again. K Mitchell

We had a lovely stay over Christmas with 8 adults and 7 children- the house accommodated all of us beautifully. When we had questions Scott responded immediately. We would not hesitate to return.

  53. Patty C.

We loved it. There were 9 adults and 3 kids. So warm and cozy and enough room for us all. We would definitely recommend staying here.

  54. Fay C.

This large, well-appointed house is a very easy walk to all the centrally located restaurants, stores, etc in North Conway. It contains 3 separate comfortable areas to gather in (extended kitchen, living room and dining room), and lots of comfortable bedrooms. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Tip for those who want to use the hot tub on your check-in day: make sure the heat is set correctly as soon as you check in as hot tubs take many hours to warm up!

  55. Keith L.

Very practical spot for outlet shopping and able to walk less than 100 yards to great eats. As advertised.

  56. John M.

We stayed here for the first half of February school vacation with a group of 12 and it was awesome! Everyone had plenty of room to spread out and we could have easily had more people here. The hot tub was terrific, pool table and pub room were great for all and bedroom and baths were great! Really can’t say enough about the home and the location is equally amazing. We skied at Cranmore, Bretton Woods and Attitash. All within easy driving distance and North Conway shopping and dining only 15 minutes away. We will definitely rent here again. The owners Scott and Amy were wonderful too!!!

  57. Lawrence R.

Perfect location and accommodation for a ski weekend. My coworkers and I enjoyed the beautiful space immensely. There were lots of bathrooms, lots of space to move around, and great areas that led the group to congregate together. The flow of the house is nice, and the kitchen & pantry were great for preparing large meals. The kitchen and dining room are beautiful with the wood craftsmanship! We all highly recommend this place for any large group. It's hard to think of a comment for improvement, maybe more space for animal secure recycling in the garage? (there was nicely organized trash/recycling within the house). We would go back again and hope to secure this place again for our next years' ski trip! Thank you Scott for the wonderful place!

  58. John S.

Huge clean home. Very modern for NH but still enough charm. Great pool table and hot tub. Was really amazed by the quality. Scott has done a fantastic job with this property. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Jackson House Inn. There were 19 of us, ranging in age from 14 to 81 years, and every one of us enjoyed the house and surrounding areas. The house has been modernized, and everything was up to date, and comfortable.

The owners are very accommodating and helpful, and our whole experience was great.

  60. Roy S.

Thanks for sharing your newly restored old Inn with my grandsons and I.

You have done a wonderful job of keeping the warmth of an old New England Inn and balancing it with with modern amenities with the kitchen, hot tub, wifi, pool table, man cave etc. It could not have been better equipped.

    Thanks again,

    The Swanfeldt Family

The location of the rental is in a perfect location and not directly off the main which was a huge plus especially having our dog with us. The rooms were larger than expected and there is game room with seating, hot tub, TV, and a pool table. The kitchen was great with a new gas stove and refrigerator and a large island with two deep sinks. Washer and dryer access was essential to be able to wash clothes over the duration. The brook out back has very clean spring fed water which was also key for keeping the dog cool during the hottest part of the day. Large backyard for the kids with a flower garden. The upgrades in the house are great but keeping the Colonial vibe throughout is a nice touch. The owner was very informative on the property and area.
